Yuckey Cruise

One of the first things we're gonna do when we get out of the grey, wet, snowy Northeast is take a nice long vacation. And what we want to do more than anything is take a Disney cruise. But when stuff like this hit the news....No Thank You.
The outbreak of a Norwalk-type virus (search) aboard the Enchantment of the Seas (search) sickened 108 passengers and eight crew members, said company spokesman Michael Sheehan. It was traced to a man who had symptoms two days before boarding the ship Monday, he said.

A special cleaning of the 1,950-passenger ship was expected to delay a scheduled departure Saturday for a few hours, officials said.

Symptoms of Norwalk-like viruses include nausea, vomiting and diarrhea and last up to 48 hours.
These boats have to get a handle on this type of thing. First off, they have to warn people who are sick not to board, and for passengers that are ill, reschedule their vacation without penalties. Really....isn't a cruise line's reputation worth that bit of effort? It may take some talking to ever get me on a cruise. Yuck!!
